Install on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS (Focal Fossa)

Prerequisites

• Root or sudo access
• curl or wget installed

Installation Steps

1. Import the repository GPG key

sudo curl -fsSL "https://packages.openproject.com/srv/deb/opf/openproject/gpg-key.gpg" \
  -o /usr/share/keyrings/openproject.gpg

Alternative: Using the ASCII-armored key (requires gnupg)

If you prefer to use the ASCII-armored key format or need to verify the key manually:

curl -fsSL "https://packages.openproject.com/srv/deb/opf/openproject/gpg-key.asc" \
  | gpg --dearmor \
  | sudo tee /usr/share/keyrings/openproject.gpg > /dev/null

2. Download the repository configuration

sudo curl -fsSL \
  "https://packages.openproject.com/srv/opf/openproject/release/17.9/installer/ubuntu/20.04.list" \
  -o /etc/apt/sources.list.d/openproject.list

Or using wget:

sudo wget \
  -O /etc/apt/sources.list.d/openproject.list \
  "https://packages.openproject.com/srv/opf/openproject/release/17.9/installer/ubuntu/20.04.list"

3. Update package index

sudo apt update

4. Install packages

sudo apt install PACKAGE_NAME
